From the Crew: Celebrating the English Release of Umamusume: Pretty Derby

- The English version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby (hereinafter “Umamusume”) flew out of the gates on June 26, 2025! English-speaking trainers can now join their counterparts who are already enjoying the world of Umamusume in the Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese versions of the game.
To celebrate the launch, there’s a variety of exciting content to dive into, including a celebratory video featuring fan-favorite Gold Ship, the official launch trailer, and an exclusive giveaway on social media. The team is also hard at work producing an English version of Umapyoi Legend! Be sure to keep your eyes on the official English Umamusume: Pretty Derby X (Twitter) account (@umamusume_eng) for all the latest info.
Cygames will also be attending both Anime Expo in Los Angeles and Japan Expo in Paris, July 3 – July 6 (local time)! You can expect plenty of Umamusume action at the booths in the exhibitor’s halls, but another special treat awaits—the hit movie Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Beginning of a New Era will be receiving screenings at Japan Expo on July 4, and at Anime Expo on July 7. Dash over to the Cygames booth at either con to immerse yourself in the high-speed thrills of Umamusume!
As you guide your trainee Umamusume as she races toward her dreams on the racetrack, we hope you’ll also come to appreciate the rich culture and tradition of horse racing in Japan.
